Often these shares can generate more paperwork than income, and once brokers’ fees are deducted, they’re hardly worth selling. But to charities like Campaign for Better Transport, your shares could make a real difference.
Campaign for Better Transport works to secure transport policies and programmes that improve people's quality of life whilst reducing environmental impact. ShareGift (registered charity no. 1052686) collects small amounts of shares from donors until there are enough to sell, and with the fund this creates, makes donations to charities such as Campaign for Better Transport.

Donating more shares
Donating shares is one of the most tax-efficient ways to give to charity. CAF is an international non-governmental organisation which provides specialist financial services to charities and their supporters.
