The Department for Transport (DfT) is starting the process to choose a rail company to run services on the South Eastern rail network, serving south east London and parts of Kent and East Sussex.
The DfT is running a consultation seeking YOUR views on how these rail services can best meet passengers' needs.
Currently, South Eastern has some of the worst passenger satisfaction in the UK. In the words of the Secretary of State for Transport: "Services on the South Eastern rail network have been unacceptably poor for far too long. Passengers have endured disruption, overcrowding and delays, particularly during redevelopment work at London Bridge station."
We think passengers deserve better: better value for money, better trains and stations, better customer service and a better deal for part-time commuters - all enforced by better monitoring and fines when the train company falls short.
Together with the Sevenoaks Rail Travellers Association, Get Us To Work and the Tonbridge Line Commuters, we have set up this form to make it easy for you to respond to the consultation on the South Eastern Rail Franchise. Do feel free to add your own experiences, your biggest gripes and priorities for change! The full SouthEastern consultation document can be read here.
