Rail for Herefordshire

Rail for Herefordshire campaigns for better train services in the county.

The group campaigns for:

• Twin-tracking the Hereford-Malvern line to improve reliability and increase train frequency,
• Faster services to Birmingham and a late return train for people wanting to go out in the evening.
• A station at Pontrilas.
• Station improvements at Hereford, to include pedestrianisation, signing and planting schemes.
• Safeguarding disused lines from development.
• Funding for a feasibility study to look at opening new lines and stations.
• More space for bikes on trains
