Experience: My involvement with Campaign for Better Transport started in the early '90s when I volunteered in the organisation's office. I then worked for another campaigning organisation for nine years before returning to Better Transport in 2001.
Why I work for the Campaign for Better Transport: I'm concerned about the impact that traffic has on cities: it's one of the biggest barriers standing in the way of urban regeneration.
Biggest transport gripe: The domination of our streets by traffic - walking and cycling are so much harder on traffic-filled streets.
Favourite means of transport: I like cycling as it's the ideal speed for taking in your surroundings as you go along.
