Better Transport

Experience: I worked for an MP after the 1997 elections, and became interested in the role of organisations like Campaign for Better Transport in getting across alternative viewpoints to decision-makers. Since then I have been involved with campaigning and lobbying for a number of charities. Most recently I spent three years at Living Streets, a charity which campaigns for vibrant, well-designed streets that are good for walking.

Why I work for the Campaign for Better Transport: I’ve always been interested in improving our transport system so that it’s not just based around driving. I’m pleased to work for an organisation which is so successful in influencing local and national government.
