The forum covers Hayes (West Middlesex / West London), with Harlington, Harmondsworth, Longford, Sipson and part of Cranford. The forum is a representative grouping of over 200 local community and voluntary organisations campaigning for improvements to the locality. The group's geographical area includes Runway 3 proposals for Heathrow Airport.

The forum meets several times a year at Hayes Campus, Uxbridge College, Coldharbour Lane, Hayes. Times, dates and venue vary: contact the group for more information.

  • The Five Roads Forum was formed in the 1999 as a residents association for the Five Roads home zone in West Ealing (London).  The Forum campaigns for a traffic and parking management scheme to address the problems experienced by the residents and to strike a balance between vehicular traffic and everyone else who uses the street.
  • The Forum was formed in 2002 to lobby for improvements for rail passengers (and potential rail passengers) primarily in the London Borough of Sutton but also recognising the needs of rail users in other areas of south London. The group has developed good working relationships with the Train Operating Companies, whose representatives regularly attend the Forum meetings that are held around four times a year and which are open to the public.
  • CAAG campaigns for improvements in the urban environment, including street, planning and green space issues. Since 2001 we have worked to improve pedestrian safety in the streets; to devise the Windus Streets for People area; to design and build a playground on Stoke Newington Common; to establish a conservation area in a historically important neighbourhood; and to throw public parties.
  • We are a passenger support group, seeking retention and improvement of services and facilities at all the rail and underground stations in the area between Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction, but we pursue passenger interests in relation to services on the West London Line throughout their corridors, i.e., Brighton/Gatwick Airport/East Croydon to Watford Junction/Milton Keynes.
  • The campaign seeks to open up King's Cross Station for the use of the whole community. We are particularly concerned about the lack of east/west access to the station resulting from current redevelopment.
  • The Muswell Hill Metro Group are campaigning for the reopening of the railway line between Finsbury Park and Muswell Hill, with an extension to Alexandra Palace. They propose a tram or light rail system.
