    Thames Valley Central Campaign for Better Transport campaigns on local issues and supports the national organisation in pressing for sustainable transport.

  • Bus Users UK, Oxford Branch

    We are a group of bus users in Oxfordshire who are all members of Bus Users UK. Some of us are in a small steering group which decides where to concentrate our campaigning.

    We hold public meetings every six months to a year, where Bus Users UK members and non-members alike are welcome. The next will be held in September 2008 in Central Oxford. At these meetings senior managers from local bus operators and the County Council give progress reports, and take questions from the floor.

    The steering group meets monthly.

    The group has a presence on mySpace and Facebook.

  • Oxford to Bicester Rail Action Group

    We are a group of local people working to preserve and develop the railway line that runs from Oxford, through Islip, to Bicester.

    We're very keen to hear what people think about the railway service and how it could be improved. The more people who join us, or pass on their views, the more influence we can have with the train operator, currently First Great Western Link, and with other bodies.
