When campaigning to improve buses, there are several things you could try to achieve:

• Increased reliability
• More priority for buses
  
• Better stations and stops  
• Clearer signage 
• Low-floor buses
• More buses 
• Lower fares 

Sometimes there are lots of problems with the buses and what is needed is a step change to improve buses throughout your area. For example, if the buses are too expensive and infrequent, there aren’t any bus lanes and the bus station is a mess, it might be better to tackle these problems together. That’s because, in this situation, what is probably needed is an agreement between the transport authority and other key players like the bus companies which looks at all of these problems at once.
