During the storms over the weekend of 8 and 9 March, the roof over the Yeovil Bus Station Travel Shop was damaged, and rain poured into the Travel Shop. The Travel Shop, which is now only being run as an unmanned information facility, closed temporarily while repairs were carried out. After a request from Friends of Yeovil Bus Station, The Gorge Café agreed to hold copies of some timetables on their display stand until this can be resolved.
Meanwhile a number of the operators using Yeovil Bus Station have announced their support for restoring a manned passenger information facility in Yeovil Bus Station.
