Are you getting your message across? Is yours a winning campaign? Strong technical arguments alone are not enough! This conference will help you.

In assocation with AirportWatch, we are running a big national training day for people trying to stop damaging road and aviation proposals. The training day will gather people from across the UK - both new and experienced campaigners - to:

• Get a cutting edge overview of campaigning against road building and airport expansion
• Connect, share ideas, coordinate actions across road and airport campaign communities
• Try out new ways for getting campaign messages across effectively to key audiences
• Find out about sources of funding and meet funders
• Understand how to use ‘new media’ 
• Hear an inspiring closing speech by George Monbiot

The energy levels will be high. There will be very specific skills sessions with clearly defined outputs. There will be structured networking to connect people who have needs and ideas in common as well as to link up people who come from similar parts of the UK.

The conference will cost £10, which includes teas and coffees and lunch.
