March 2009: Sixty-five per cent of trains on the Portsmouth to Waterloo line are now high-density suburban trains known as 450 trains. They were not designed for such long journeys and passengers find them cramped and uncomfortable.

September 2008: In December, the Walsall-Wolverhampton passenger rail service is set to be withdrawn. Now is the last chance to save the service and Canber has set up a petition.

October 2007: The Department for Transport has specified a 50% cut in the number of direct services between Ashchurch and Birmingham. Arriva will not implement this change until December 2009 but the consultation regarding the cuts has already closed.

Canber would like you to ask for this cut to be reversed. Please write to your MP and ask him or her to ask Transport Minister Lord Adonis to reverse these cuts.
