This list comes out of a survey we ran in August 2007 to find the train stations in the country with weak links to other modes of transport and to city centres. Is there a station you’d like added to this list? Tell us about it.

"Chelmsford Station in Essex is small, cramped and can't cope with the number of London commuters. The ticket barriers are frequently broken which causes a huge build-up of passengers. The steps are too narrow to allow for more than one up / one down and during peak times the queue backs up on to the platform: I have to work out which carriage to get into so that I can get out parallel with the steps in order not to be caught in too long a queue. The waiting facilities are also pitiful. I don't get much for my £2,940 a year" - Nathan.
