The following roads are being proposed in the region and are in the Government's road building programme.

  • A57 - M1 to Todwick Crossroads: £17 million
  • A631 - West Bawtry Road Improvements: £12.4 million
  • Beverley Integrated Transport Scheme: £28.8 million
  • M1 J28 to J31: £247-417 million
  • M1 J29 to J42: £144-226 million

  • M1 J39 to J42: £144-226 million
  • M62 J25 to J30: £151-262 million
  • Waverley Link Road: £9.1 million

The region would also like to build the following roads, which are in local planning strategies, but which the Government hasn't agreed to fund yet.

We're working with local people to stop them getting in the roads programme.

  • M18: £40 million
  • White Rose Way (A6182): £33 million
  • A63 Castle Street: £190 million
  • M18 Finningley Link Road (FARRRS): £130 million
