Road building plans in the East Midlands
The following roads are being proposed in the region and are in the Government's road building programme.
- A43 - Corby Link Road: £39.6 million
- A453 Widening (M1 J24 to A52 Nottingham): £141-194 million
The region would also like to build the following roads, which are in local planning strategies, but which the Government hasn't agreed to fund yet.
We're working with local people to stop them getting in the roads programme.
- Nottingham Ring Road: £44 million
- Lincoln Eastern Bypass: £107 million
- A38 Derby junctions: £121 million
