Better Transport

Experience: Ruth is an experienced finance manager in the third sector. Prior to joining Campaign for Better Transport she worked at Cycle Training UK Ltd, a worker co-operative that delivers on-road cycle training across London, where she developed her expertise in co-operative governance and was involved in writing the first ever code of governance for worker co-ops with Co-operatives UK. She also serves as treasurer of the London Cycling Campaign.

She is currently studying for an MBA at Nottingham University Business School, where she has a specialism in corporate social responsibility and small business management. She has a Physics degree from Imperial College, where she started her management career running numerous clubs and societies.

Why I work for the Campaign for Better Transport: "I'm passionate about making transport better: cycling is my particular area, but I also use trains and buses a lot, so working for Campaign for Better Transport was a perfect fit."
